About me

Hi, I'm Gabbi (she/they)

Over the past decade, I've worked alongside individuals and families through some of life's most tender and challenging moments—including grief, trauma, identity shifts, and chronic illness. My experience in diverse communities across California has taught me that healing isn't one-size-fits-all—it starts with meeting you exactly where you are.

I believe healing often begins in the hardest places—the moments we'd rather avoid or hide from. Sometimes growth asks us to turn toward what feels painful, frightening, or unacceptable, and to offer compassion to the parts of ourselves we've been told are too much, too sensitive, or not enough—while also recognizing that many of these wounds come from systems and structures that themselves need healing and change. Therapy is where we can do that work together—where the grief, outrage, tenderness, and longing can be safely acknowledged and honored. This process not only brings more vitality and joy, but also frees us from having to appear "fine" all the time. It's an act of courage and reclamation.

My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and always through a social justice and neurodiversity-affirming lens. I often integrate somatic work, creativity, and playfulness, and when appropriate, I enjoy incorporating nature into the healing process.

Whether we meet in person in Mammoth Lakes or connect online, my hope is that therapy feels like a safe and collaborative space—one where you're supported, challenged, and reminded that you don't have to navigate hard things alone.
